Authorities Investigate Bank Robbery In Oakland
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Police are searching for a suspect following a robbery at a bank in Oakland this morning.
According to emergency officials, the robbery happened at the First Niagara Bank in the 3700-block of Fifth Avenue. The man told the teller, "Don't freak out, give me all your money."
There is no word on how much money he managed to get away with, but emergency officials say the dye pack exploded on Euler Way.
Police were searching that area as the investigation continues.
Pittsburgh police say the robber did not use a weapon.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 50's with pattern baldness. He is about five-feet-nine-inches tall.
Police say a reward is being offered for information in this case.
