Author Michael Weinreb Discusses Growing Up In Penn State
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) -- Author Michael Weinreb joined Seibel, Starkey and Miller to discuss the recent article he wrote about growing up in Penn State and personally knowing the Paterno, Sandusky, and McQueary families.
Weinreb said as a community, everyone at Penn State is shocked and saddened as this story continues to unravel, and described what a small, close-knit community it is up there and how Paterno played a role in making it that way.
When it comes to whether or not Paterno should be allowed to coach this Saturday, Weinreb said it's hard to say definitively what should be done until all the facts are known, but he can understand the outcry for Paterno to step down immediately.
