Appeals Court Ruling Restores NFL Lockout
ST. LOUIS (KDKA/AP) -- The NFL lockout is back on.
The 8th U.S. Circuit Appeals Court granted a stay while considering the league's appeal of a ruling earlier this week that lifted the lockout.
On Monday, U.S. District Judge Susan Nelson handed down an 89-page ruling that paved the way for players to resume workouts.
Teams had already begun opening their doors to players when the latest ruling came down.
The 2-1 decision included a lengthy dissent.
