Another Loss Has Steelers Nation Frustrated

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The Steelers had just lost to the Dallas Cowboys in overtime Sunday evening and emotions were raw.

Ben Roethlisberger was asked why, after throwing to Heath Miller six times for 85 yards in the first half, he didn't throw to him once in the second half.

"I just don't think we called the right plays to get him the ball," said the Steelers quarterback in another of his famous heartbroken quotes. "I think we still… there were a couple times we called plays that just we didn't execute correctly."

He was then asked who was calling the plays, and if it was him who called them in the no-huddle offense.

"You know what… we… that's tough for me to answer right now," Roethlisberger said. "In the second half, we really didn't do much of it and that's disappointing."

Finally, even when describing his incredible touchdown pass to Miller, a play that would be talked about for years if the Steelers had won the game, Roethlisberger said this:

"The play got called and they went to a prevent defense, so the play that was called wasn't a good play at all, and so we just started making a play and went to throw it over the middle and Heath just kind of… at the last minute I saw him on the sideline and I just tried to get it to him and let him do that rest," Roethlisberger said.
