Another 2 To 4 Inches Of Snow Expected Monday

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – More snow is rolling through this week.

Starting Sunday night, a snow squall moving in will drastically affect roads in northern Allegheny and southern Beaver counties.

Around 8 p.m., the National Weather Service issued an advisory saying an inch of snow is expected in an hour.

Visibility will be limited and roads will be hazardous along I-279 North, the parkway, I-79 and I-76 in those areas.

The National Weather Service also issued a weather advisory extending into Tuesday.

The advisory is in effect from noon Monday to 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches is expected in Washington, Somerset and Greene counties.

The NWS expects hazardous travel conditions, with low visibility.

Late Monday afternoon is when the most intense period of snow is expected.

The Westmoreland and Fayette ridges are expected to get about 1 to 2 inches Sunday night, with another 2 to 4 inches also expected Monday.
