People ripped him in social media, but no one should be criticizing this young man for this decision.

It's too bad that the Bucs were the victim in this whole scenario. If Appel didn't have agent Scott Boras in his corner, it might not have worked out. Instead, Appel gets double the money to go to his hometown.
