"Ambulance Chasers" Could Impact The NFL
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The NFL is under attack by lawyers seeking to find players who will to sue the league over past or recurring injuries.
The Fan's Steelers Insider Ed Bouchette of the Post-Gazette told Vinnie and Cook Tuesday, live from the Super Bowl, "They are chasing ambulances. This isn't going away. The NFL has to make it safer, but keep it entertaining."
Bouchette says this is happening after Junior Seau's family recently sued the NFL following his suicide last year.
Seau's family claimed his suicide resulted from brain disease caused by repeated hits to the head during his football career.
"Dermontti Dawson (Steelers Hall of Famer) said someone just called him out of the blue," according to Bouchette. "Frenchy Fuqua said a number of lawyers called him."

Even President Barack Obama has commented on the issue, saying in an interview with The New Republic, "I have to tell you if I had a son, I'd have to think long and hard before I let him play football."
