Al Oliver Talks Pirates' 1971 World Series
PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) -- With interleague play coming up for the Pirates including a three-game set against the Baltimore Orioles, the Fan Morning Show called former Pirate Al Oliver.
The seven-time All-Star played for the Pirates on their 1971 World Series team that defeated the Orioles in seven games.
The Pirates will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of that Championship next week when the Orioles are in town.
