Agent Ron Del Duca Talks Lockout, Mendenhall Lawsuit
PITTSBURGH (Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN) -- Agent Ron Del Duca joined Seibel, Starkey, and Miller to talk about the NFL Lockout.
Ron Del Duca talked about needing a resolution soon between the owners and the players union. He talked about how crazy everything is going to be once the smoke of the looming lockout clears.
Del Duca also talked about the lack of rules and regulations in terms of agents representing players adding that teams will need a 90 player roster as some players will more than likely be out of shape because of the lockout.
He touched on the Mendenhall situation as the Steelers running back takes Champion to court over his endorsement deal being dropped. Del Duca said the company can write boundaries in the contract that deem termination but if clear-cut language was not used, then Mendenhall may have a case.
