Afternoon Snow Leads To Many Crashes Sunday
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Steady snow Sunday afternoon led to some slick roads for drivers throughout the day.
On Marshall Avenue on the North Side, a car spun out of control on the slick roads, but no one was injured.
A tractor-trailer also slid down a slippery hill in Harrison Township. The driver wasn't hurt in the incident, but the tractor-trailer had to be towed from the scene.
There were also dozens of crashes along the Turnpike for drivers heading east.
Among the crashes was a 50-car pileup that shut down lanes in either direction just outside of Philadelphia.
