After Loss To Patriots Larry Foote Believes "This Season Is Not Over"
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) - The Larry Foote Show broadcasts live from Monte Cello's as the Steelers linebacker reflects on a difficult loss to the Patriots in New England.
Quarterback Tom Brady 'has a presence' and Foote had a moment with his collegiate signal caller following the loss to the Patriots in Foxboro.
Even though the game was frustrating, Foote says, "It was good seeing an old friend."
It was a rough football weekend for Foote starting with a loss by his alma mater Michigan to rival Michigan State followed by the Steelers defeat on Sunday, but he is looking forward to more favorable results this weekend.
Foote is accustomed to success and thinks, "We got to go on a hell of a run to make the playoffs, but it's possible."
Foote knows that the Steelers veterans as well as young guys will turn their play around and he hopes that he will have the opportunity to come back with this team next year after his injury has healed to be a part of the rebound season.
As far as this season goes, Foote maintains, "We need to play hard and get back to the basics."
Lots of people forget that the Steelers started 2-6 in 2006, but were able to finish 8-8 and play spoiler to the Bengals down the stretch.
Foote is confident that this team will not give up because, "There's a lot of pride in our locker room."
