AFC Defeats NFC In Pro Bowl, 59-41
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) — Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger threw two touchdown passes Sunday to help lead the AFC to a 59-41 win over the NFC in the 2012 Pro Bowl in Hawaii.
Roethlisberger completed 6-of-11 passes for 181 yards and two touchdowns. He got the start for the AFC and connected with Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green for a 34-yard touchdown for the AFC's first points of the game.
Roethlisberger found Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall for a 74-yard touchdown on the next possession — one of Marshall's four touchdown catches on the day.
Steelers wide receiver Mike Wallace had two catches for 34 yards. Antonio Brown had two receptions for 15 yards and added four punt returns for 115 yards, including a 46-yard return, as well as a 29-yard kickoff return as the AFC's return specialist. Brown even saw time in the defensive backfield for the AFC.
Linebacker James Harrison and safety Ryan Clark each had three tackles.
