Accident Knocks Out Power In Enon Valley
ENON VALLEY (KDKA) -- A tractor-trailer crashed into a utility pole and left about 1,000 homes without power in Lawrence County.
The accident happened on Route 551 in Enon Valley just before noon.
"I was doing dishes and the lights went out and I thought, 'Uh oh.' And the telephone went off," Thelma Seidler said.
Enon Valley Borough and Little Beaver Township were affected by the outage. Warming shelters were set up for residents.
Crews planned to work throughout the evening to get the power back on for customers.
