1 Dead After Late Night Crash On Route 28
MILLVALE (KDKA) -- One person is dead following a violent accident along Route 28 in Millvale late Thursday night.
Two vehicles crashed just before 11 p.m. near the 31st Street Bridge.
The impact of the crash caused one of the vehicles to flip onto its side.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the victim as 59-year-old Bonnie Horn of Tarentum. An autopsy has been scheduled for today.
Traffic was diverted during the overnight hours in the northbound lanes of Route 28 as police investigated the crash.
There's no word yet on what caused the accident.
