A.G.'s Office Asks Pa. Supreme Court To Review Jordan Brown Case
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office is asking the state Supreme Court to review the Jordan Brown case.
Prosecutors filed the petition today.
Back in May, the state's Superior Court overturned a guilty verdict against Brown saying there was insufficient evidence.
The state Attorney General's Office now wants the Supreme Court to review that decision.
Brown is now a teenager, but he was just 11-years-old when he was charged in the death his father's pregnant fiancée at their home in New Beaver, Lawrence County.
Kenzie Houk and her unborn child died when prosecutors say Brown shot her in the back of the head while she was sleeping.
Brown is currently in juvenile custody.
