Orpik Offers Positive Side To Losing
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) - Jim Colony from the Fan Morning Show caught up with Penguins defenseman Brooks Orpik to get his reaction to Monday's 4-2 loss to the Boston Bruins.
Orpik and the team watched the game video on Tuesday. He said they were fortunate to be up 2-0 in the third period and if it wasn't for the play of Marc-Andre Fleury the team would have lost by more goals.
Orpik said there is a bright side to losing as it highlights the problems they need to focus on in practice and in games.
Sidney Crosby has been out a couple of games with a mild concussion during the Penguins' losing streak, but Orpik says, "this team is capable of winning without him" as they have done in the past.
