5 To Face Charges In Westmoreland Co. Vandalism Spree

GREENSBURG (KDKA) -- State police say they know who damaged more than 100 cars across Westmoreland County over this past weekend.

Two juveniles and three adults, ranging in age from 17 to 22, are expected to be charged in the incident.

Police believe the group was playing a game where they took turns shooting B.B. gun to see who could hit the most cars.

The suspects damaged more than 100 cars on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Police were continuing to get more calls from victims today.

Neighborhoods that were targeted include Fort Allen, Linwood Estates, North Point and East High Acres to name a few.

Police were able to catch up with the suspects in a traffic stop after a watchful neighbor noticed an unusual car in the area.

Among the charges the suspects will face are multiple felony counts of criminal mischief.
