4 Injured In Fayette County Crash
FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP (KDKA) - Four people were injured in a single-vehicle accident in Fayette County Saturday morning.
According to police, the accident happened on State Route 51 in Franklin Township around 8:15 a.m.
A 2009 Ford Expedition traveling north lost control while negotiating a left curve in the road. As a result, it went through a guardrail, down a steep embankment and hit several small trees before coming to rest near a creek.
The 33-year-old male driver of the vehicle was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected through the front windshield. He is believed to have suffered major injuries in the crash.
A 34-year-old woman and two children – ages 5 and 1 – were also injured in the crash.
