4 Felony Charges Dropped Against Saltsburg Teacher Accused Of Rape
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A local shop teacher, who is accused of raping a student, had some of the charges against him dropped in court Wednesday.
Saltsburg High School teacher Todd McCullough is accused of raping a 16-year-old girl last spring.
The girl testified against McCullough Wednesday.
McCullough's lawyer is challenging her story.
"I think she's making up this story because she found out that my client got engaged," said Duke George, the defense attorney. "Shortly after the engagement was announced was when this supposedly was given to law enforcement."
Four of the felony charges against McCullough were dropped.
However, he still faces several other felony charges including aggravated indecent assault and sexual assault.
