4-1-Zoo: Pitt No. 22 In Both Polls
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) — After suffering its second home loss of the season to Wagner Friday, Pitt dropped to No. 22 in both the AP Poll and Coaches Poll.
The Panthers beat St. Francis one week ago, 71-47, but looked like a completely different team Friday in a 59-54 loss to Wagner.
Pitt has now dropped to being the lowest-ranked Big East team in the polls. Syracuse (1), Louisville (4), UConn (9), Georgetown (12) and Marquette (14) are all ranked ahead of the Panthers.
Pitt starts Big East play tonight at Notre Dame. The Panthers play Cincinnati Thursday at home to round out action for the week.
