4-1-Zoo: Four Former Panthers Named To Pro Bowl
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) — Four former Pitt players were named to the the Pro Bowl Tuesday evening.
Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy, Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, New York Jets cornerback Darelle Revis and San Francisco 49ers punter Andy Lee earned Pro Bowl honors.
McCoy has 1,309 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns on 273 attempts. He also has 48 receptions for 315 yards and three touchdowns.
Fitzgerald has 71 receptions for 1,262 yards and eight touchdowns. He's 534 yards shy of 10,000 receiving yards for his career.
Revis has 51 tackles and four interceptions, largely regarded as the league's premiere shut down corner.
Lee showcased his abilities to Pittsburgh recently on Monday Night Football, consistently pinning the Steelers deep in their own territory. He has a 50.5-yard average per punt and has placed 26 of his 73 punts inside the 20-yard line.
