30,000 Bees Removed From Westmoreland Co. Home
A Westmoreland County family is bee-free this morning after a huge hive was removed from their Delmont home yesterday.
Melissa Beblo tells KDKA that the hive was discovered beneath the floor of her daughter's bedroom, and the early estimates were as big as 5,000 bees.
But when all was said and done, Beblo says a total of 30-thousand bees were removed from the home. Despite a few stings to the beekeeper, the process went without a hitch, and the bees were removed alive and relocated to a bee farm.
