3 Teens Killed In Venango Co. Crash
OIL CITY (KDKA) - Three teenagers were killed in an early Monday morning accident in Venango County.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, the accident happened on Grandview Road in Cornplanter Township around 3:30 a.m.
The teens were allegedly traveling in a stolen pickup truck at a high rate of speed, spun counterclockwise and went off the road on the eastern berm.
After shearing off a telephone pole, the truck began to roll and crashed into a tree before landing on its roof.
Flames erupted from the vehicle and all three occupants were declared dead at the scene.
The 1999 Dodge Ram was allegedly stolen from a construction site in the Oil City area earlier in the day.
The victims have been identified as 16 year-olds Quest Morgan-Green and Reginald Brown Jr. and 17-year-old Deshawn Lamont-Harris. Brown and Lamont-Harris were half-brothers.
Brown is believed to have been the driver and his girlfriend and sister went to the crash scene Monday night to say prayers and remember him.
"Everybody knows that he was a good person and that he loved everything and a lot of people and he's going to be missed," Brown's girlfriend, Crystal Kinnear, said.
"He was just a great person. He loved everybody and liked to hang out and just be himself," Brown's sister, Jade Koster, said.
All three victims are from Oil City and attended Oil City High School.
