3 Steelers Injured In Win Over Jaguars
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The news was not all good after the Pittsburgh Steelers escaped with a 17-13 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.
Troy Polamalu left the game in the fourth quarter with concussion-like symptoms. Polamalu walked off the field after stopping Jacksonville's Maurice Jones-Drew short of the first down marker early in the quarter.
Head coach Mike Tomlin said the team was just being cautious with Polamalu.
According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Polamalu's injury is not believed to be serious.
Two other Steelers suffered injuries in the game as well.
Doug Legursky dislocated a toe and Ryan Clark suffered a shoulder injury.
Details about the severity of their injuries are expected to be given during Tomlin's weekly press conference on Tuesday.
