PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The Steelers offseason is already off to a big start, as the team looks to the future without superstars Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell.
KDKA will be updating this page with all the latest signings and other updates as the Steelers prepare for another exciting NFL season.

The Steelers have signed another free agent to their roster.
Defensive lineman Casey Sayles signed a one-year contract.

Sayles was signed by the Los Angeles Rams as an undrafted free agent in 2017. He spent the 2017 NFL training camp with the Rams and the 2018 training camp with the Steelers before joining the Alliance of American Football's Birmingham Iron.

The Steelers have signed three free agents to their roster.
Cornerback Kameron Kelly, linebacker JT Jones and defensive tackle Winston Craig all signed one-year contracts.

Kelly spent the 2018 NFL training camp with the Dallas Cowboys before signing with the Alliance of American Football's San Diego Fleet.
Jones was signed by the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent in 2017 and spent the entire season on the team's practice squad. Jones spent the 2018 preseason with the Falcons before signing with the AAF's Atlanta Legends.
Craig spent the 2017 and 2018 preseasons with the Philadelphia Eagles before signing with the AAF's San Antonio Commanders.

The Steelers have signed two free agents to their roster.
Center J.C. Hassenauer and defensive back Jack Tocho were both signed to one-year contracts.

Hassenauer spent parts of the 2018 NFL season on the Atlanta Falcons' practice squad before signing with the Alliance of American Football's Birmingham Iron.
Tocho was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the seventh round of the 2017 NFL Draft and spent the majority of the 2017 season on the Vikings' practice squad. In 2018, he spent the last several weeks of the season on the Washington Redskins' practice squad before signing with the Birmingham Iron in 2019.

The Philadelphia Eagles are reportedly signing former Steelers inside linebacker L.J. Fort.
"LJ Fort to the Eagles. I could see the Steelers drafting two ILBs next month. Fort played more toward end of the season especially on passing downs."

In the overnight hours, ESPN's Adam Shefter reported that the Steelers have an agreement to sign former Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver, 25-year-old Donte Moncrief.

NFL.com is reporting that the Steelers and free agent cornerback Steven Nelson agreed to terms on a 3-year deal for $25.5 million, which can be made official on Wednesday.

The 26-year-old Nelson (5-foot-11-inches, 194 pounds) played more defensive snaps than any other player on the Chiefs in 2018. He set career highs in total tackles (68), interceptions (4), and had 15 passes defended.

Nelson was originally a third-round pick out of Oregon State in 2015. He will be entering his fifth NFL season. He has started 38 NFL games in his career.
