2019 Penguins Draft Tracker: Penguins Select Defenseman Santeri Airola 211th Overall
VANCOUVER (KDKA) -- It's clear the Penguins are going a certain direction in their 2019 NHL Entry Draft selections; big and skilled.
Three of their five picks were north of six-feet-tall and two of those three scored upward of 50 points.
The Penguins had six picks in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft at the start of business Friday but traded three picks to Arizona in order to move up to the third round on Saturday. They also traded their 2020 seventh round pick to San Jose in exchange for the 211th overall pick.

With the 211th overall pick, the Penguins have selected defenseman Santeri Airola from SaiPa in the Finnish Elite League. Airola played for the Finnish Under-18 and Under-20 teams in the 2018-19 season, racking up 47 points over 51 games.

With the 203rd overall pick, the Penguins have selected forward Valtteri Puustinen from Finland. The 20-year-old forward had ten goals in 47 games with HPK in the Finnish Elite League.

ROUND FIVE
With the 145th overall pick, the Penguins selected right wing Judd Caulfied from the United States National Development team. Caufield had 36 points in 64 games with the USNTDP and is committed to playing at the University of North Dakota in the 2019-20 season.

ROUND THREE
With the 74th overall pick, the Penguins selected right wing Nathan Legare from the Baie-Comeau Drakkar of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. In 68 games for Baie-Comeau, Legare scored 45 goals, added 42 assists for 87 points.
