2 Shaler Bank Robbery Suspects Sought
SHALER (KDKA) – Police are searching for two suspects following a bank robbery in Shaler Wednesday morning.
According to police, the incident happened at the Allegheny Valley Bank in the 900-block of Mount Royal Road around 10 a.m.
Two masked men entered the bank via the back door and ordered everyone to get on the floor. One suspect showed a handgun, while the other hopped over the counter and emptied the cash drawers.
The two men fled the scene in a white vehicle.
The first suspect is described as being a white male about 5-feet-7-inches tall with a thin or medium build. He was seen wearing a white shirt and a black mask.
The other subject is also described as a white male, but with a medium to heavy build. He was seen wearing gray sweatpants, a dark top and a black mask.
