2 Injured In Separate Pittsburgh Shootings
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Pittsburgh Police are investigating two separate shootings that left two people injured early Tuesday morning.
According to emergency dispatchers, the first shooting happened in Bloomfield around 3 a.m.
The suspect allegedly approached the victim near the intersection of Corday Way and Orville Way and demanded money.
The suspect then shot the 33-year-old victim in the chest and ran away from the scene.
According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, he was taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital and was last listed in critical condition.
Another person was injured in a shooting in the East Hills around 3 a.m.
The shooting happened at the Maple Ridge Apartment Complex on Park Hill Drive.
The suspect entered an apartment and began firing.
According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the victim is a 25-year-old male.
He was taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital to be treated for gunshot wounds to the chest and arm. His condition is unknown.
Anyone with information on either of these shootings is asked to call police.
