2 In Lawrence Co. Found Dead Of Apparent Murder-Suicide
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police are investigating after a man and woman were found dead of an apparent murder-suicide in Lawrence County.
Police say around 3:45 p.m. Thursday, a passerby called 911 to report a man lying on the ground in the Bessemer Lake parking lot in North Beaver Township.
When officials arrived, they found 54-year-old Ronald Hartman and 50-year-old Shirley Rivardo with gunshot wounds.
Rivardo was found inside a pickup truck and taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Hartman was found dead lying on the ground beside the truck.
Police say they believe Hartman shot Rivardo and then shot himself.
State Police are investigating.
