2 Facing Charges After Multiple Robberies
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Two men face multiple charges after allegedly robbing a McKeesport convenience store.
Police responded to an armed robbery call at 11:16 p.m. Tuesday night at the Buy-n-Fly convenience store located on the 3800-block of Walnut Street.
Authorities say a man walked into the store armed with a crowbar and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash, as well as a pack of cigarettes.
Shortly after, police stopped a vehicle matching the description of the robber's car. Inside, the passenger also matched the description of the suspect and had a crow bar lying on the floor.
The driver, Andre Marshall was arrested, as well as the passenger in the car, Shae Patterson.
Marshall is charged with criminal conspiracy. Patterson is charged with robbery, possession of instruments of crime, criminal conspiracy and recklessly endangering another person.
Patterson is additionally charged with robbing a Donut Connection store with a crowbar on Oct. 7 and a home invasion robbery Oct. 15, where he threatened a 90-year-old woman with a hammer and took $200.
No one was injured in any of these instances.
