Washington Co. Crash Victims Identified
ELCO BOROUGH (KDKA) - Two people were killed and two others injured overnight in a car accident in Washington County.
The crash happened around 1 a.m. on Route 88 near Vesta Road in Elco Borough.
State police say the driver, 19-year-old Kelsey Blasinsky, of Carmichaels, suffered critical injuries and was taken by medical helicopter for treatment at a local hospital.
According to state police, Blasinsky missed a left curve in the roadway and sideswiped a guide rail. The vehicle crossed the north and south lanes and rolled over several times before slamming into a tree.
Two passengers, identified by the Washington County Coroner as 18-year-old Jerret Dotson and 21-year-old Adam Morris, both of McClenllandtown, died at the scene.
Officials say Blasinsky and Dotson were ejected from the vehicle in the crash.
A third passenger, identified by police as 21-year-old Joshua Darnell, of Uniontown, was also flown to a hospital in Pittsburgh.
