2 California University Hockey Players Arrested In Drug Bust
CALIFORNIA (KDKA) - Two California University hockey players and brothers were recently busted for drugs.
According to police, Steven and Jesse Powell of Baldwin were arrested Tuesday at a home in California, Washington County.
Officers found nine pounds of marijuana and $13,000 in cash.
A university spokesperson said the hockey team is a club sport, not a varsity program, and it has its own code of conduct for players with punishment for violations ranging from community service to being kicked off the team.
Both were arraigned Wednesday night.
