2 Arrested After Shaler Daylight Burglary
SHALER TOWNSHIP (KDKA) –Two people were arrested following an alleged daylight burglary in Shaler Township Wednesday morning.
According to police, the incident happened on Bethany Drive around 10:47 a.m.
Neighbors alerted police, who then found the suspects in an adjacent wooded area.
The suspects were arrested with the help of a K-9. One juvenile was taken to the hospital to be treated for dog bites.
"I was home upstairs working, and I heard a lot of ruckus," the homeowner told KDKA's Marty Griffin.
The homeowner says two gas cans, an Under Armour hat, and an iPhone docking station were taken and recovered.
Police are also looking for an unknown type of vehicle that may have been associated with the suspects.
The vehicle was allegedly parked in the Sharpshill area of Shaler.
