2-Alarm Fire Breaks Out On North Side
NORTH SIDE (KDKA) – Firefighters were called to the scene of a two-alarm fire at a two-story building that housed four apartments Saturday morning.
According to emergency dispatchers, the fire started in the 3300-block of Perrysville Avenue around 7:35 a.m. in Perry North.
The fire is believed to have started in the kitchen area of an apartment on the first floor.
According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, 10 people were in the apartment at the time and all were able to get out safely before firefighters arrived.
All occupants inside the building were able to get out safely.
