Teen Charged With Making Threat To Penn Hills School District
PENN HILLS (KDKA) -- Penn Hills police have filed charges after someone called in a bomb threat to the school district.
Andre Milligaen, 18, of Pittsburgh, was arraigned Thursday afternoon on charges of terroristic threats, threat to use weapons of mass destruction, causing or risking a catastrophe and recklessly endangering another person.
According to police, the initial call came in around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, saying there were six pipe bombs around the school.
About 500 to 600 students were sent to the Fralic Athletic Center during the incident where fights broke out.
Crews searched the school and the grounds for over two hours and did not find any bombs.
