17-Year-Old Wounded In Homewood Shooting
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Police were called to the scene of a shooting in Homewood Monday evening.
According to emergency officials, the 17-year-old victim was found in the 300-block of Fram Street.
Police talked to him, but he's not saying much.
"He told us that he was on foot at Brushton and Kelly, and then he heard shots fired and all of the sudden he was hit in the leg," said Lt. Richard Pritchard, of Pittsburgh Police. "That's about all we have right now. He's not really forthcoming with any information."
The victim was shot in the thigh.
He was taken to a local hospital for treatment, but there's no word on his condition.
