17-Year-Old Injured In Somerset County Crash
STONYCREEK TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- A teenager suffered serious injuries in a one-vehicle accident in Somerset County.
The crash happened along Huckleberry Highway (Route 160) in Stonycreek Township on Friday.
State police have not released the teen's name because he is a juvenile, but say he is 17-years-old.
According to investigators, the teen was driving southbound when he passed another vehicle and lost control of his car.
State police say the car hit an embankment on the west side of the road, rolled over, hit the embankment again, traveled across the road and then struck another embankment on the east side of the roadway.
The teen was flown to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.
There's been no word on his condition.
