Power Crews Working In Aftermath Of Storms
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Following a line of afternoon thunderstorms, several thousand homes are without power in the Pittsburgh area.
Duquesne Light reports 4,500 customers do not have service. Their crews are removing tree limbs and repairing downed wires to homes and businesses back on line.
Duquesne Light expects to restore power by 8 a.m. for customers in Beaver County, western Allegheny County and eastern Allegheny County.
Customers in other areas are expected to have power by 4 p.m.
First Energy reports 9,000 people without power.
