10th Street Bypass Reopens After Flooding
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Heavy rains over the weekend forced the closure of several roads around Pittsburgh.
PennDOT closed the 10th Street Bypass Sunday night due to flooding. The road was reopened Tuesday morning after the Allegheny River had receded.
The Mon Wharf was another area hit hard by the flooding, but it is still closed.
There is no timetable for when it could reopen, but it is likely that commuters will need to find other places to park for the rest of the week.
While the river may drop below the Mon Wharf's flood level soon, crews will need time to clean up the area.
