1 Dead, 1 Injured In Hill District Shooting
HILL DISTRICT (KDKA) – One person was killed and another was injured in an early Saturday morning shooting in the Hill District.
According to police, the shooting happened in the 2200-block of Bedford Avenue around 1:40 a.m.
When officers arrived, they found two males suffering from gunshot wounds.
Harold Young, 17, of the Hill District, was unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second male was shot multiple times in the legs and was taken to the hospital for treatment. However, he is expected to survive.
No arrests have been made and anyone with information is asked to call the Pittsburgh Homicide Unit at (412)-323-7161.
