Pizza Hut raised a few eyebrows this week when it introduced its "Hot Dog Stuffed Crust" pizza in U.K. restaurants. A Pizza Hut spokesperson however told CBS News there are no plans to release the pizza in U.S. restaurants. Americans have turned deep-frying into a sport, and the arrival of county fair season means it's time for the nation's annual showcase of fried fare. Despite nonstop warnings about the health risks of obesity and the importance of low-fat eating, chefs across the country continue to dream up artery-clogging creations.
