"Wonderland" Transformations

"Alice in Wonderland" is hitting the big screen again in 2010, with director Tim Burton taking audiences down the rabbit hole. His gothic, fantasy-land imagination (which brought forth the likes of Beetlejuice and Edward Scissorhands) will certainly transform the classic Lewis Carroll story and its famous characters. Take a look at the film's stars (some are Burton regulars) and how they'll look in "Wonderland."

Johnny Depp

"Alice in Wonderland" marks the seventh time Depp and Tim Burton have worked together - other collaborations of theirs include "Edward Scissorhands" and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory."

The Mad Hatter

Helena Bonham-Carter

Bonham-Carter is Tim Burton's full-time leading lady. The two have been romantically involved since they met working on 2001's "Planet of the Apes" - which Burton directed and she starred in - and they have two children together. Other Burton films she can be seen in include "Sweeney Todd" and "Big Fish."

The Red Queen

Anne Hathaway

Unlike Depp and Bonham-Carter, this is Hathaway's first time starring in a Tim Burton film. In "Alice in Wonderland," she plays the White Queen, a character not seen in the 1951 animated Disney film.

Matt Lucas

British comedian Matt Lucas, seen here in the Comedy Central series "Krod Mandoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire," has not one, but two roles in "Alice in Wonderland" - he plays both Tweedledee and Tweedledumb. Tim Burton has made similar use of his actors before - in "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," only one actor was used to play the many Oompa-Loompas.

Mia Wasikowska

Wasikowska, seen here in her role on the HBO series "In Treatment," plays the title character, Alice. According to USA today, Tim Burton has said about the actress, "We met a lot of people, but she just had that certain kind of emotional toughness, standing her ground in a way that makes her kind of an older person with a younger person's mentality."
