Best signs from women's marches around the world
Hundreds of thousands of people gathered on Saturday for the Women’s March on Washington to rally against President Donald Trump’s stated agenda. Many protesters at the march -- held on the first full day of Trump’s presidency -- wore pointy-eared “pussyhats” and carried signs protesting various aspects of the new administration’s plans. Some chanted, “Welcome to your first day, we will never go away.”
“KEEP YOUR TINY HANDS OFF OUR Rights!"
The women brandished signs with messages such as “Women won’t back down” and “Less fear more love.”
Other signs decried Mr. Trump’s stand on such issues as abortion, health care, diversity and climate change.
