Wildfires rage in Colorado
More than 350 homes have been lost in what is now the most destructive wildfire in Colorado history, surpassing last year's Waldo Canyon fire, which burned 347 homes, killed two people and led to $353 million in insurance claims.

At least four major wildfires broke out along the front of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado Tuesday, burning dozens of houses and chasing people from their homes.

The Black Forest Fire was one of at least three significant wildfires burning in Colorado amid gusty winds and record-breaking hot, dry weather.
A National Park crew assessed the fire that has been confirmed on the north end of Big Meadows on the west side of the park.
Minutes later the fire jumped the road to the south of his house.
The fire consumed an estimated 7,500 acres. It damaged 40-60 structures and forced the evacuation of thousands of people. As of Tuesday night the fire was reported as zero percent contained.
