Singer Courtney Love, looking like she's on her way to hang out in Central Park, enters New York State state Supreme court for a hearing Oct. 20, 2004, when she pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct for hitting a clubgoer on the head with a microphone stand during a performance. She was granted a conditional discharge and ordered to pay victim Gregory Burgett $2,336 to cover medical expenses.
Babyshambles singer Pete Doherty, sporting a jaunty black hat, leaves the Thames Magistrates Court in east London Nov. 8, 2006 following a hearing at which he was accused of a March 23 assault on Radio 1 Newsbeat reporter Trudi Barber. He was fined $1,400 and also ordered to pay $475 in compensation and $380 in court costs.

She was placed on three years' probation and fined $2,700. She also was ordered to pay $6,355 in restitution to the store and $1,000 in restitution to the court.

Russell Crowe arrives at Manhattan Criminal Court in New York Nov. 18, 2005, to appear on charges of throwing a phone at a Manhattan hotel concierge in June 2005. He pleaded guilty to third-degree assault and was sentenced to a discharge on the condition that he not get arrested for one year. He was also ordered to pay a $160 court surcharge.
Actor Christian Slater exits Manhattan criminal court May 31, 2005, in New York. Slater was arrested that day on a charge he groped a woman. The following September, a judge dismissed sexual harassment charges against the actor on the condition he committed no criminal offense for six months.
Mel Gibson departs the Los Angeles Superior Court Thursday, March 3, 2005, in the Van Nuys section of Los Angeles, after testifying against a man accused of stalking him. Zack Sinclair, 34, was arrested in September for investigation of stalking Gibson. He allegedly went to the gate of Gibson's Malibu estate repeatedly last September after evading neighborhood security and asked to pray with him.
Actor Robert Conrad walks outside the Calveras County Superior Court Aug. 12, 2003, in San Andreas Calif. Conrad pleaded innocent to two felony counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. He was convicted of drunk driving and was sentenced to six months of house arrest, five year's probation and alcohol counseling. He also lost his driver's license for one year.

He paid $19,000 in late child support and court fees and was freed after spending three nights in the Norfolk County jail. A judge had ordered Brown held in the county jail until he made the payments after he was arrested while watching his daughter's cheerleading competition at Attleboro High School.
