"Be Tipul" becomes "In Treatment"
"In Treatment" had a successful run on HBO garnering two Emmy's and a Golden Globe for the actors Diane West (who won the Emmy for Best Supporting Actress) and Gabriel Byrne (who won the Emmy and the Golden Globe for Best Actor). This U.S. flop went for 17 episodes on NBC and starred Molly Shannon and Selma Blair. American audiences didn't take to the adapted Australian humor. The Australian version ran for four seasons in its native land.

Unlike "Kath and Kim," "The Office" was a success on both sides of the ocean. Steve Carrell led this American version to critical and commercial success and creator and star of the British version, Ricky Gervais, did the same.

Robinson also appeared on the American version when it aired on NBC beginning in 2001 and ending in 2002 after a steep ratings slip. To be fair, the title is unfounded: She looks much less terrifying off the set.
"Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" becomes "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?"
The Regis Philbi- hosted American version was a hit in the states when it aired on ABC in 1999 through 2002 eventually reaching syndication.
