Floodwaters ravage Japan
Torrential rain after the 18th typhoon to hit Japan this year has caused massive flooding and landslides. More than 100,000 people were ordered to evacuate after rivers burst their banks in cities north of Tokyo following days of heavy rain pummeling Japan. A section of a levee bracing the Shibui River broke early September 11, 2015 threatening residents of Osaki City and flooding around 100 buildings. Three people are dead and more than two dozen missing.
