Every day, millions of people "share" (as in, download in illegitimate ways) movies on BitTorrent. Blog TorrentFreak decided to round up the top 10 downloaded (cough, pirated) movies on the P2P site...

"Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End," which came out in 2007 and stars Johnny Depp, was number 10 on the list with 14 million downloads.

9. "The Incredible Hulk"

Dr. Bruce Banner's story is also quite popular. At number-nine on the list, "The Incredible Hulk," which came out in 2008 and stars Ed Norton, received 14 million downloads.

8. "The Departed"

This Mark Wahlberg, Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon and Jack Nicholson flick was among the most downloaded. "The Departed" was shared 14 million times on BitTorrent.

7. "Kick-Ass"

We're quite surprised "Kick-Ass," which was not a major blockbuster and only grossed $96 million worldwide, made the cut. It had 15 million downloads.

6. "Star Trek"

As it turns out, many loved prequel "Star Trek," which came out in 2009 and stars Chris Pine and Zoe Saldana. It was downloaded 16 million times on BitTorrent.

5. "The Hangover"

The first installment of "The Hangover" is number five on this list. The comedy, which stars Bradley Cooper, was downloaded 17 million times on BitTorrent.

4. "Inception"

Leonardo DiCaprio's "Inception" also made the list. At number four, the complicated movie about dreaming about dreams had 18 million downloads.

3. "Transformers"

We guess many couldn't get enough of Shia LeBeouf and Megan Fox. The first of the "Transformers" movies is number three on this list with 19 million downloads.

2. "The Dark Night"

"The Dark Night," which stars Christian Bale as Batman and the late Heath Ledger as Joker, is number two on the list with 19 million downloads on BitTorrent.

1. "Avatar"

Twentieth Century Fox

This movie about a paraplegic marine and inhabitants of moon Pandora is the number-one most downloaded movie on BitTorrent. And who can blame them? "Avatar," which came out 2009 and has grossed over $2.7 billion, is a favorite of ours, too. It was downloaded 21 million times.
