Eric Sanchez, 28, and Danielle Turner, 23, met while competing in The Amazing Race Season Nine. Sanchez, a waiter, lives in Deerfield Beach, Fla., and Turner, a bartender, lives on Staten Island, N.Y. On Season Nine, Turner finished in seventh place and Sanchez's team was the runner-up.
In Second PLace
Dustin Seltzer and Kandice Pelliter, both 25, are former beauty queens. The best friends met while rooming together during the Miss America pageant in 2005. Seltzer graduated magna cum laude from California Baptist University with a B.A. in speech communications and lives in Seattle. Pelliter is a Rockette at Radio City Music Hall and in her senior year at New York University.
In Third Place
Charla Baklayan Faddoul and Mirna Hindoyan, both 30, of Towson, Md., are cousins. They finished Season Five in sixth place. Faddoul is a real estate investor and Hindoyan is an attorney. Faddoul stands only four feet tall but was strong enough to throw a 50-pound slab of meat over her shoulder and helped carry it a quarter of a mile for a challenge.
Eliminated April 29
Oswald Mendez, 36, and Danilo Jimenez, 41, are best friends and finished in fourth place on Season Two. They had a falling out after appearing on "The Amazing Race," but have since mended their 12-year relationship. Mendez, who works in advertising, lives in New York; Jimenez, a property manager, lives in Miami. They hope to be the team to beat this season.

Uchenna Agu, 42 and Joyce Agu, 46, are married and live in Houston. They won the $1 million prize in Season Seven. They've been married for seven years and have not been able to start a family, something they said has put a strain on their marriage. They hope running the race again will bring them closer.

Joe Baldassare, 56, and Bill Bartek, 53, life partners, live in Laguna Niguel, Calif. Baldassare owns a minerals trading company and Bartek is a realtor. They finished Season One in third place. They say they're ready to get back to the competition in the hopes that winning the $1 million and being able to retire.

Teri Pollack, 53, and Ian Pollack, 54, are married and live in Palm City, Fla. They have three children and finished Season Three as runners-up. Terri is a teacher and a homemaker and Ian is a private investigator and retired police lieutenant. They were known for their healthy bickering because both admit to always thinking they are right. They are the oldest team to ever complete The Amazing Race.

Rob Mariano, 30, and Amber Mariano, 28, met while competing on "Survivor All-Stars," which Amber won and "Boston" Rob came in second. They live together in Pensacola, Fla., where both work in television. The couple finished second on Season Seven.
Eliminated March 4
David Conley, Jr., 33, and Mary Conley, 32, finished in sixth place in Season 10. The Conleys, who live in Stone, Ky., met at the local McDonalds more than 11 years ago; they've been married for nearly 10 years and have three children. David works as a coal miner and Mary is a homemaker. She took her first plane ride after being cast on the show.

Kevin O'Connor, 40, and Drew Feinberg, 41, met in a fraternity while attending St. John's University and immediately became close friends. They finished in fourth place in Season One, but scored their own show called "Kevin and Drew Unleashed" on the Disney Channel. O'Connor, a forensic accountant, lives in Bayonne, N.J., and Feinberg, a senior court officer, lives in Staten Island, N.Y.
Eliminated: Feb. 18
John Vito Pietanza, 32, and Jill Aquilino, 29, were dating when they appeared on Season Three, finishing in fifth place. Pietanza, a trader, and Aquilino, a product controller, live in New York. Aquilino's older brother F.T. was Pietanza's best friend. He was killed in the terror attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, and was originally going to compete with Aquilino.
