Thatcher laid to rest in London

The coffin of former British prime minister Margaret Thatcher draped in the Union flag inside St. Paul's Cathedral in London, April 17, 2013.

Dignitaries from around the world joined Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh as the United Kingdom pays tribute to Thatcher during a ceremonial funeral with military honors. Thatcher, who died last week, was the first British female prime minister and served from 1979 to 1990.
